You never knew where I was going and you can't understand me because I am who I am. Never tell me where to go because my compass points to anything but north. Where I'm heading is in my own direction. If there's something wrong with me, then what the hell is wrong with you? Myself included doesn't mean a thing, at least not to me. who you want me to be is nothing like who I am inside.

I never wanted to be this way, but you forced my hands down. Everything we used to do was a big mistake for me or you. I don’t know. Who ever listens to what their parents have to say? I don’t know. Every time we were together, I forgot about the world and all of its bullshit. I always used to look forward to what we’d plan, and every little thing that we'd do. Was it just all and games or was it more to you? Who ever thought that what our parents said would come into play? Well, isn’t that bullshit? All was lost when I thought that everything just wasn’t worth it
Are we just friends or were we ever something more?
I love you like the sea loves the shore, and add one more. I need to see your love face plus a smile, and add one more.

I never pictured more than one or two faces in an unfinished basement bobbing awkwardly along. But build it up: some day we'll make it. Yeah we'll make it.
And I thought that we could work out, so I gave my best to us. And I thought that plans would give out, but we wouldn't give up on expectations.
